I haven’t spent a whole lot of time in my garden so far this season – too wet, too hot – but this week I finally got to dig in the soil (ripping out buckets of weeds) and also took time for some photos …
I have paid so little attention to the garden this season – never even put in my usual few choices of annuals to fill in the gaps. But I prefer my garden to have space, so I can see the soil so that works – just need to till that soil 🙂

Well, you see, Dianne – the joy of the macro is that all the weeds don’t show 😉

Gorgeous, I’m very fond of artemisia, like the smell and the name from the myth!

I like the bit of silver in the garden, and you can pick it and it lasts forever in the house 🙂

Thank you, Amy. I find it hard to hold ‘er steady but some turned out quite nicely. And that balloon flower – I love its colour.
