Robyn hosts the One Four Challenge at Robyn’s Fine Art – one of our own photos edited four ways over the course of the month. This month I’m just going to play and see what develops – pun intended 🙂 This is my original photo, taken in Montreal on a drippy early evening in March.
The slide show below outlines the steps I took to take the image to this –

Love that ‘starry’ sky Lynne – there is something disturbing (in a good and memorable way) about this edition – like I can’t quite look at it, but I also have to keep looking!! 😃

I know..lol
Something I learned at art school being surrounded by others was that disturbing can be a real eye catcher. This is good. People remember 😃😃

What a great edit! I love the sky and the muted colours work really well. 🙂

I was going to mention the Van Gogh sky, but I see someone got there first!
There’s something dystopian and vaguely disturbing (to me) about this look. Not a place I’d like to be!

Well Van Gogh’s starry night has a bit of that effect on me. Thank you for commenting. 😉

You really went all in with this one, I like the painterly effect, that sky reminds me of Van Gogh.

Yes, it’s my Starry Night Van Gogh sky – when I saw it come up that’s what I thought of and why I kept it. 🙂

Hi Lynne – I somehow missed your entry last week. You’ve nearly got a 3d effect in the sky!

I really do like this, although I find the sky just a bit distracting. Amazing what can be done, isn’t it?
