Apparently it is the house used in Mork and Mindy, for those of us that remember the show where Robin Williams got his start. I was stumped at first with what approach to take so I started playing. I ended up with a folkart-ish rendition, kind of in keeping with the idea that Mork and Mindy has gone down in the annals of TV lore, if anyone follows that line of thought 😉 The result is that I have no record of all the things I tried and undid and clicked on and tweaked. So not much help in the how-to department. I did start with a line draw rendering of it produced in PS Elements and moved on to HD and edges and a plug-in to smooth it out and I’m not sure what all else. Below that is a second rendering, this in keeping with Williams’ somewhat warped view of reality. Nanoo Nanoo, signing off.
The first, folkart-ish edit is wonderful but I absolutely adore the warped version! Really well done. 🙂

Hahaha! Definitely had to laugh at the “have no idea what I pushed, pulled, tweaked,” Lynne 🙂 When you’re in the flow, you’ve just got to let it happen! While I like the effects of the first image, I am really wowed by the warped version – true to “Mork” and not an effect seen often, it works really well with the idea behind this image! Fun, fun, fun! Thanks for taking part in the celebration!

I really like the warped one at the end. Although i don’t feel it is finished, it looks like a great starting point to continue with a surreal image.

With your skills I KNOW that would be true but by the time I had reached here in my aimless play I’d had enough. Perhaps I’ll take another look later. Thanks, Ben.

Sometimes it is good to take a break when editing especially if you get tired. I think coming back to it at a later date would be a great idea.

These are all great. I kind of like the cartoony look of your last two. 🙂 Wonderfully edited.
