Horse Guards Week 3

Robyn at Captivate Me hosts the One Four Challenge – one of our own photos four different ways over the course of the month, on Mondays.

This is my photo for the month – it was taken during the changing of the guard at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Β This will be about searching for the images within the photo. Β I’ll try to get four good crops out of this and then play with them in hopes of producing four interesting images from the one photo.DSCN4693 Kungliga slottet Royal Palace 8X6

After adjusting the lighting for this corner of the image, I used the median filter again this week, then the cloning tool to even things out and tidy it a bit.

Love that median filter too. It gives such a lovely overall feeling to the image. I had a bit of a play with it this week myself. Nice work Lynne!!

  2. This crop is nice as it has shifted the focus to the horses. The media filter has created an interesting effect, kind of ghostly, yet the second horse in the front is mostly unaffected making a nice focus point.
