Photo Editing: Day in the Park

I let the week slip away and left it too late to submit to Stacy’s After Before Friday but thought I would put one up anyway.

A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte

I work in Sagelight and I always start with adjusting the lighting and then I brought the detail way up to produce the pointillist look. I provided more clarity to the centre of the image to draw the eye into the scene. I adjusted the colours and used the cloning tool to remove the clutter on the left side. I had to complete that tidy-up in Paint. I also used the clone tool to fill in some of the sky holes that were distracting to my eye, particularly in the upper right.
