Looks as though you have had a good drop of rain, the farmers will be happy. It has just started raining here and the farmers are sowing the spring crops here too

We are actually trying to dry out a bit here – I and my two dogs want to get passed the MUD season!

Oh yes I had forgotten the cyclone… 😦

Happily we are not in the cyclone/tornado zone but we had a lot of snow to melt and now we are getting rain, and more rain. Where we live we don’t experience that much severe weather – although that seems to be changing with the increase in severe weather everywhere. Except for our massive ice storm of ’98. We were in the disaster zone for that one.

Unfortunately it is a fact of life that all weather zones are going through change. It is no longer predictable.

Wow, lovely subdued palette….still a little wintery looking, but spring is on the way 🙂

Yes, not the spring shots you were posting but we’re getting there 🙂

That delicate touch of ochre in the clouds catches the foreground beautifully. Nice.

A different take on Spring, Lynne…. I love the rather delicate trees breaking up the skyline. 🙂

Hi Sue – yes, I agree, the trees do add to the composition.

A lovely shot full of promise. The land is very flat, is it prone to flooding? and what an unusual sky.

It is quite flat in areas around here, but I’ve never known the St. Lawrence to overflow its banks.

And soon this part of Canada will become all too green. Love the brown surrounding.

Yes, very green, soon. I love the first blush of bright fresh greens in April and May, before the roadside dust covers everything.

I love this. Open fields and the sky close by…no wind…

I drove by this shot twice before remembering to have my camera with me – it was taken at this time last year – it was the colours that attracted me
