Looking for inspiration again, I turned to Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge with the topic of texture. Now with a focus for my play, I began experimenting with the goal of not just highlighting texture but also trying to create an interesting and balanced composition. Click on any photo for a larger view.
This first one I had the most fun with and I was pleased with the abstract result, so I framed it 😉
Then some aging window frames, from the same building, which happens to be just down the road from me …
And a tree from our yard – for this one I purposely skewed the lighting using the slider controls in Sagelight to get something I liked …
Fantastic, Lynne!
I especially like the first one.
The texture is just amazing.

That first photo is really something. I can see why you framed it. You really achieved your aim of highlighting the texture.
