  1. I love this post. I was there several years ago and remember this station and how long the escalator is. It goes on forever. Your photo of it is perfect.

      1. My daughter lived in St. Petersburg and she said that people would read and neck and work crossword puzzles and all kinds of things to kill time while on the escalators. The subway system is really remarkable. When I thought about traveling under the rivers it made me nervous. 🙂
