A collection of lamps in black and white – Two have no distinguishing characteristics, one is obvious … anybody care to guess the locations of 4 and 5?
From Piazza San Marco, Venice
Lubeck, Germany
Small town in Schleswig Holstein, northern Germany
Love the lamp in Lubeck. I don’t recognise no.4 at all though with that lighthouse in the background it’s quite distinctive. Trying to work out which English railway station that might be? No, I give in 🙂
Hi Jo – Not a lot of people taking a stab at it so I’ll just tell you – it’s a French train station … Gare du Nord in Paris and the other is looking at part of Peter and Paul Cathedral on the left and the Grand Ducal Mausoleum on the right from a bridge in St Petersburg, Russia.
Such wonderful lights you have captured. One of those things that we take for granted but bring a guiding way for us.

They started appearing in shots — I think it’s become another collection.

I wouldn’t have had a hope of guessing! Lamps are great to photograph aren’t they? A lovely collection 🙂

I should have guessed both of those, though I’ve never been to either. I’m not much good at quizzes, either 🙂
