We had an ongoing battle with squirrels and bird seed until we finally got a baffle for the pole on which the feeder hung! The squirrels would still sometimes try to get up the pole, then slowly slide down. Great shot, though.
This feeder hangs of a hook out from a steel pole. It’s fun to watch him as he shinnies the pole thenb tries reaching out to grab the bottom of the feeder, gets a teeny tiny hold and goes for it, swinging over. Course, he can also just go to the top of the pole and come down on the feeder, which he also does, hanging by his tiny toes and gorging from the tray.
