  1. You’re really going to hate me, but they aren’t Wolfhounds! There are Scottish Deerhounds. They are smaller than Wolfhounds, built to chase and bring down deer. My mother always had them, so I grew up with them. They are one of the few breeds of dog I wouldn’t hesitate to stroke as they have such beautiful, gentle natures!

    1. Well, ‘hate’ is a strong word, Anna, but … really? I looked the Irish wolfhound up and thought for sure it was they. However, on looking up the deerhound I see it’s the truth you tell. Now my triple rating is down the tubes. Did you tell anyone else? πŸ˜‰ Can we call them Irish Scottish deerhounds? I had another shot of a young child’s naked little buns on the beach in St Ives as well, which would have been Indecent In St Ives but, playful and innocent as the shot was, I didn’t want to take a chance on posting it. …. maybe I could keep my triple rating based on the description of a photo – ?

      1. The one on the right looks a bit like a wolf???? They’re thinking of wolfing down a pastie? Maybe the owners Irish? Maybe they were once wolfhounds and shrank in the wash? Got it, they were bred in Ireland!
