Selective colour

Sometimes black and white likes a touch of colour.  I like playing with the selective colour option on my camera, and I’ve also used Photoshop elements 8 to reduce selected areas of a shot to black and white while leaving the rest in colour.  Either option can produce some interesting shots, and even help tell a story.

    1. The latest phone cameras are pretty good – my girls used their phones to document all their vacation traveling this summer – my phone, however, is of an older vintage. I like my camera setting but photoshopping has the benefit of retaining more than one colour, as in the one taken in Carcassonne.

    1. This isn’t the full photoshop Jo – I haven’t the brains or patience to figure that out. The versions of Elements are less of a program but also less of a hassle to figure out.
