A photo is worth a 1000 words

The weekly photo challenge is: Foreshadow

Foreshadow: to represent, indicate, or typify beforehand.  I got stuck on this one – dark clouds scudding across the sky tells of the coming storm but … couldn’t think of any other examples.   Foreshadow has a dark connotation to me, alluding to something unpleasant.

So I looked up related words –  anticipate, foreknow, foresee; forecast, foretell, predict, prognosticate, prophesy; forewarn; augur, bode, forebode (also forbode), portend, presage, promise; allude, connote, hint, imply, insinuate, intimate, suggest –

Which led to the clichéd “1000 words” … and all the possible stories hidden in a photo.  I’ve selected four … I leave it to you to fill in the blanks, the sequences of events that each of these photos foreshadows … what do you foresee?
