Visual Quotations #2

“The golden opportunity you are seeking is in yourself. It is not in your environment, it is not in luck or chance, or the help of others; it is in yourself alone.”  – Orison Swett Marden

I enjoy the written word and I enjoy photographs and photography so I am matching them up.  I invite you to join me. No specific topic just a quote that you feel describes the photo of your choice.  It’s easy to access a wealth of quotations online – in the search box  simply type:  Quote: followed by the word you want in the quote   – lots to choose from.   I’d love to see your selections – just leave me a link 🙂

  1. This is a beautiful photograph here. As for the golden opportunity, I think it can come from outside, or from within. But the older and more experienced we get, the better we should know ourselves… and so, it is more likely that the opportunity will appear from outside ourselves.

    1. The older we get, the more experienced we become the easier it is to create our own opportunities … from wherever opportunity may come, we need to be able to recognize it and sieze it.

  2. I love to play around with quotations + photos, sometimes turning them on their heads a little. Here are three of my earlier posts, to get the ball rolling:
