This was taken in
Collioure in southern France. This Mediterranean town has been a source of inspiration for artists of all types, from writers to poets, singers to painters. Picasso, Matisse, and Chagall all found inspiration here. In tribute to its artistic heritage, as one strolls the promenade they will come across a number of these frames on pedestals which are specifically situated – looking through the frame one sees the actual view and perspective portrayed in works by these masters. This particular view is of the French royal castle, Chateau Royale.
